i haven't used their protection one, but i really liked the back 2 basics line.
i'm currently using a lot of aussie products. all shampoos will make colored hair fade faster, i suggest that you don't wash your hair so frequently if you don't have to. only wash it when it looks greasy. and remember its totally ok to rinse your hair out in place of washing it. (act like you wash it but don't apply any soap) it will clean some of the oil out of your hair without ruining your color
garnier fructis and it smells awesome.
Pantene....not too expensive, either.
