Does Natural Instincts hair color shampoo out of your hair after 4-6 weeks or does it just give you roots?

if it doesn't wash out, what are some hair dyers that do? because if i don't like the color i don't want to have to deal with roots. Does Natural Instincts hair color shampoo out of your hair after 4-6 weeks or does it just give you roots?

and i dyed my hair a light brown


it's a pretty good brand and does wash out after a month

buy semi-permanent hair color rather than permanent. any semi-permanent will gradually wash out, and you won't have noticeable roots, as long as it's a color that is not really far from your natural (dark brown over naturally blonde hair for example you might end up having roots)
