it does actually, since it is specially formulated to protect the color from fading which sometimes happens when you use normal shampoos over time. also, it keeps the texture under control because some chemicals can cause your hair to be spiny. Is there really a difference in using color treated shampoo?
I have never had any luck with the shampoos for color-treated hair; my color still washes out within like 2-3 weeks. I really haven't found anything that works yet.
