Can I mix color with shampoo to make a 'Shampoo Cap'?

I had a stylist do this to my hair recently, and the color was very even and rich. They mixed the color treatment with shampoo, worked it in like you would in the bath, (a lot of lather) put a plastic cap on and placed me under the dryer for a about 7 minutes.





Can I do this myself? I seemed very easy?


Is there a certain ';shampoo'; I can use, or any will do?

you can try, but if you're not entirely sure, then ask the stylist about it just in case you do something wrong or sumthin...
