I saw some color enhancing shampoo (for horses) the other day and none of them were for grulla. Is there a ';grulla-enhancing'; product? If not, which would be best for a grulla coat? What's the best color-enhancing shampoo for a grulla horse?
The Grulla color has a lot to do with season changes. Feed your horse high feeds %26amp; the coat will be a great color! Feed corn oil( not veggie can cause gas). Start slow, 1/4 cup then slowly increase up to , no more then 1/2 cup. Flax seed is great for coats. I feed both. Also the main ingredient for the feed color enhancers is paprika. You can feed your horse that also. What's the best color-enhancing shampoo for a grulla horse?
i use asdas finest - its brillaint. or ';wash and go 2 in 1'; - even better. dont waste your time and money with expensive horse shamppoo.. at the end of the day its the same stuff. just not too often cos it may harm them if they have sensitive skin.
Since Grullo ranges from dun to blue, where does your horse figure in there? Just because it doesn't say Grullo on the label, go for the color closest to yours.
Corn oil is a good coat enhancer. You'll have to feed it for a month or so to see a difference.
I'd say equinade glo white shampoo. If you're after darkening your horse you can use equinade glo black. Quic Silver would also work...
